A Girl And Her Dog

Hi,

Yay! I made a new stopmotion! It's called a girl and her dog. I am really happy with it. Hey, did you know Eva adores cooking? She wants to make a cooking show. SHe thinks she'll call it Cooking in Eva's Kitchen. What do you think it should be called? Check back here to see when it will be done!

McKenna, girl of the week (and year, ha)

I AM SORRY!  I FORGOT GIRL OF THE WEEK :0

SO... A very long girl of the week with FOUR activities!!!!

Introducing... Girl of the week... MCKENNA BROOKS!!! :0

McKenna is a girl who overcomes challenges both in school and gymnastics. She is a very dedicated gymnast who learns to appreciate her tutor.

FANTASTIC GYMNASTICS

McKenna loves her gymnastics! I do too, but I'm NO gymnast. Host a gymnastics tournament with your dolls and friends. You can invite your friends over with there dolls too, or just have your dolls. Do flips and twist and blah blah blah... If you have a friend over too, you can take turns judging.

FLIP AND TWIST SNACKS!!!
Add a few "twists" to a boring bag of cheerios. I love this snack and I put it in a container and take it to school or other... places. First, poor some cheerios into a bowl, container, or plastic bag (sizes vary depending on how much you want). Then, I add the next listed things:
CHOCOLATE CHIPS
COCONUT
ALMONDS
PEANUTS
HAZELNUTS

Please not: I do not put nuts when I go to school. You can also add WHATEVER YOU WANT!!!
That's just my stuff.

TUTOR SESSION
McKenna has problems with reading comprehension. Does your doll? Tutor her! Set up a little library and let her choose the books. Read the book first and make question sheets!
THIS IS WHAT I THINK JOSIE (HER TUTOR) LOOKS LIKE:

Not it that outfit heh lol.

MCKENNA'S CAFE!!
"Hi, welcome to McKenna's cafe. What would you like?" HEEHEE. McKenna's mom owns a coffee shop. McKenna likes to study there, and her favorite drink is a vanilla steamer. YUMMY!
Here's how to make one:
Poor a glass of milk into a micorwave proof. Then, add vanilla essence and almond essence. Add a spoonfull of sugar then stir and put it in a microwave. Enjoy!!!

There. Four activities. And a personal comment: I WANT MCKENNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's such a pretty doll.

Sincerely,
Global Girl

Rockstar Bunny hits Howlywood!!

Howlywood is famous for all it's rocking stars, the animal talents! Home to many, including Ashele, the soulful hermit, Haliry Duck, the famous actress, and more. But now, a new face!! Everybody get used to her, cause this singer\actress is not going anywhere. So WHAT is her name? Meet Kiera Tori Triswitch, mostly known as Kiera, a stylish, sassy, one of a kind Howlywood fresh face. She's working on a song called Inside My Head (more about that later) based off of MY SONG!!! :( ill post it at some point.
Sincerely,
Global Girl

A Whole Lot of Things

Hi,
I'm first gonna start with an apology. I, Global Girl, do apologize for the fact I have not been writing on my blog for however many days, I have not happened to be available to a computer. I would like to apologize for thee stated facts that I have stated.
Thank you for your time,
Global Girl

Second, straight to the facts. I won't be back to it again for however long :( Actually, 6 days, 'cause I'm going on vacation! Long weekend (teacher work day, off for students!) so we're taking advantage of it!!!! PLEASE VOTE IF I SHOULD TAKE A DOLL ON VACATION, AND WHOM.
A) JULIA
B) SAMANTHA
C) EVA

Anyway, today, my dolls begged me for separate pets, even though they already own Honey, a golden retriever.

Eva basically BEGGED me for this cute little guy, Chocolate Chip. She really wants to help the good of mankind (she's SOOOOO sweet) and look at that guy! One word; AWWWW!!!

Julie went another way. Yes; cute and fuzzy. No; Big loyal thingy for good of mankind. She really want's this tiny little bunny named Nutmeg. He (She, maybe?) is her pet in the book. She (he?) is CUTE, true, but I personally LOVE dogs. Ok, he (she) is sooo CUTE!!!!! AWWW!!!

Sam UBER surprised me with HER gift request. I was suspecting some reptile, but her VERY FIRST request was this horse. I know, almost EVERY girl wants a horse (I do!) but her? That's not really her personality. Hmm?

Anyway, I found a gorgeous gown (actually, two!) for Christmas, as well as this awesome set! I'm not crazy about the pets (I mean they're cute n' all, but they don't need them) but these are adorable!!!

Oh, and these aww-dorable pjs and set!!!

Anyway, TADA!!!
Sincerely,
Global Girl

Hmm...

I asked the naughty dolls, and they said they were bored... huh... Sneaky...

NAUGHTY DOLLS!

Hi,
I just found out that my dolls created a website! Sigh... Not surprising, Sam started it, Julie soon followed, and Eva (Marie Grace) wasn't comfortable with it. Well, they did it, so go check it out!

The fabric for my costume

Hi,
Here's the fabric for my Sally costume.

It's that time of year again!

Okay, not only is it Friday (the day before my favorite day of the week, Saturday) but it's my second FAVORITE holiday that's coming right around the corner: IT"S HALLOWEEN! The perfect time for a perfect halloween themed stop motion. And what does that mean? Naughty dolls eating candy, tricksters taking the "treat" out of trick or treat, lots of doorbells, costumes, I'm getting excited all ready! Hey, which one of these outfits are your favorite?

I think I have to go with the top one, but the genie also is super adorable.

Anyway, this year for halloween (I love that word) I'm gonna be Sally from nightmare before christmas. I'm going to make my costume (yay!)

I'll be sure to "keep you posted" on how it goes, the process, blah blah blah. I don't really like the store bought costume, so thus: a homemade Sally! So that's going to be cool. Anyway, we decorated today. Not SUPER spooky, but whatevs.

Ciao.

Girl of the Week?

Hi,
Here, I'm introducing a new thing; Girl of the Week! Each week I'll choose one of my favorite american girl's and post them on here with activities.

First, I'm going to start with (drumroll, please) REBECCA!!

Rebecca Rubin is a really pretty doll growing up in 1904 in New York City. http://www.americangirl.com/index.php THis is the website you can go to for her online games, the American girl website.

REBECCA'S MOVIES

WHen Rebecca's cousin Max (an actor who gave Rebecca the awesome hat) takes her to a REAL movie studio, Rebecca gets put in the movie.

ACTIVITIES
REBECCA LOVES MOVIES! WHAT ABOUT YOUR DOLL?
Set up a mini movie theater for your doll. Serve a whole bunch of mini doll sized snacks, such as tiny berries, little popcorn, and broken up candy bars. Put little doll sized chairs or/and cushions on the floor. Make sure you have a place to sit! Make a little movie poster for advertising. Turn on your favorite movie or an American Girl movie. REMEMBER: Theaters don't have to be HUGE. A small corner in a room is fine.

REBECCA'S SHINING NEW YORK CANDLES
Most people think candles are made of wax. They don't have to be. Take your FAVORITE cake/brownie recipe. It has to be soft enough to push things into it without it crumbling. Make it, bake it, that cut it up into squares. Take a plain, solid, bread stick (not too solid to eat it!) Decorate the cake/brownie however you like, or just plain. Then, take orange, yellow, and your white candy melts. Melt them on the stove or in the microwave. PUT THEM IN SEPERATE BOWLS!!! That's very important. Place the white candy melts on a flat plate. Put pretty sprinkles on another plate. Roll your bread sticks in the white candy melts. Try to cover as much as possible, but try not to cover the very top (it's okay if you do though.) Then, roll them in the sprinkles before the candy melts dry! Set them aside to let them dry. I FORGOT ONE THING!!! Don't heat up the orange and yellow candy melts YET, or else those might dry. Once the bread sticks are dry,  heat up the other candy melts. Dip the tips in the orange candy melts, maybe a quarter down. Then, dip the very top in yellow candy melts. DIp the bottom in candy melts to (it doesn't matter what color) It helps them stay put when you do the second to last step; push the bread sticks gently into the cake/brownie, let them dry, then... (My FAVORITE step) EAT AND ENJOY!
Sincerely,
Global Girl

Clarifying

Just FYI, was putting McKenna up there with Kanani just 'cause I thought it would be nice to compare.

Kanani

Hi,
I know I'm a year too late, but here's what I think about girl of the year 2011, Kanani.

Kanani is adorable! I love her eye color and hair color. Speaking of, her hair! I think it's really pretty. I love how long it is and all the curls. That's also the cutest flower in her hair. I love her meet dress too! I missed my chance. :(
On eBay, the asking price for new in box says 297 dollars. I don't think I can save that much, maybe I should do it with McKenna, girl of year 2012.

CLOTHING
I think her clothes are very original and cute. My personal favorites are her pajamas, as well as her meet outfit. I love her pajamas for the color especially, but I also like the style of the top. Her meet outfit, well, nothing really is wrong with it! The dress is super cute, a great color and print, the bracelet is awesome.

FURNITURE
Aside from the doll, this is my favorite thing; her shave ice stand! This would probably be so much fun to play with, as well as great stop motion material. I think this is really well made. It's a cute tropical pink, with tons of awesome supplies so Kanani can make the shave ice!

Well, I'll stop my dreaming here.

Sincerely,
Global Girl

McKenna

Hi,
Now that I'm done drooling over Kanani, I'm back to bring you McKenna!!

THE DOLL
McKenna is a very pretty doll. I love her blue eyes and long, Carmel hair.
I don't have her, though I've considered getting her (I got a different doll instead, Marie Grace). I think she suits being a gymnast very well. I LOVE the books. Mary Casanova is my favorite author for American girl. I think she's my favorite GOTY (girl of the year) so far. Just a little random list on this subject:
FAVORITE GOTY:
1. McKenna, 2012
2. Kanani, 2011
3. Mia, 2008

HER CLOTHES
Ok, I think her clothes are awesome. I love her Rainy Day Outfit! The sweater is so cute and a sweet shade of purple, those boots are ADORABLE, I have plenty of good things to say, but I'll stop here. Her pajamas are adorable! I love McKenna's logo. The gymnastics 2 outfits in one is also super practical for a day at the gym, and cute! Her performance outfit and team gear (I put them side by side) are also cute.

THE FURNITURE
O my gosh, the furniture! That beam and bars set is adorable, and I think it's soooo cute that there are the little grips. I think the bar should be higher, but than again its good for teaching your dolls gymnastics. I'm no gymnast (I wish I was) but I still love this set!!
The loft bed is sooooo cute. I wish the accessories were sold seperatly, so it would be less expensive. Oh well.
Time to drool some more.
Ciao!

Small Update

Just a thanks to mom-expat.blogspot.com to being my first suscriber, and me being hers.

MY FIRST STOPMOTION

Hi,

THis is my first stopmotion. I'm happy for this being my first. It was also my first time on iMovie.
ENJOY!

Global Girl

Welcome to my blog!!

Hi,
I'm really excited to start keeping everyone posted. I will probably post a lot here, such as stories, videos, pictures, and my "Point of view". I'm probably going to write quite a bit about American Girl.
A SMALL INTRODUCTION TO MY AMERICAN GIRL FAMILY:
Given Name: Julie Albright. Also known as: Jules

Julie is the eldest of the family. She's very creative but not very sporty. She really likes painting and making clothes.
Star Status in my videos: Starring to middle roles. I like Marie Grace better on camera, but she's also nice on camera.
Fun Fact: When she needs money, she sells her handmade clothes.

Given Name: Marie Grace Gardner. Also known as: Marie/Grace

Marie Grace is the youngest. She's very kind and sweet. She loves animals, and is very generous. She volunteers at plenty of animal shelters.
Star Status: the STAR! I love the way she looks on cameras, and off. SHE'S SO PRETTY!
Fun Fact: She once trained a service dog.

Given Name: Samantha Summer Parkington. Also known as: Sam

Samantha's really sporty. She really doesn't take any nonsense, she'd rather be playing on one of the million teams she's on.
Star Status: Middle to low roles. She doesn't like getting dressed up, again, she'd rather be practicing dribbling (soccer and basketball)
Fun Fact: She sometimes gives yoga classes to her sisters.

So I'll probably come up with stop motions as often as I can.
Anyway, those are the "sisters". Figured you should know.
I also like music, and if I find a new great song I'll make a slideshow or something and just add it in.

So, I should probably tell you why I'm "Global Girl". I've been a lot of places. I'll take you with me by adding pictures.

Yeah, I know this post is kinda lame, but I WILL get better. I thought introduction should be in here, so whatever.

I promise, I will write like everyday.

Sincerely,
Global Girl.
